Thinking creatively and applying mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios

The STEAM projects incorporated at the end of our Singapore math chapter encourage students to think creatively and apply mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios. By incorporating nature into the learning process, students develop a profound appreciation for the practical applications of mathematics in their surroundings.

This week students took their mathematical explorations outdoor. Faced with complex math problems, they didn't just crunch numbers they embraced the power of Design Thinking to unravel mathematical mysteries.

The students were on a mission to make math more engaging and accessible. Armed with the principles of Design Thinking, they set out to transform the way they approached mathematical challenges.
